Key Responsibilities:

1- Benchmarking of regulatory and compliance regimes at state and firm levels with international regulations and best practices, after conducting sectoral analysis.

2- Development of Framework/ mechanisms to operationalize the National Compliance Center.

3- Development of  National Compliance Policy while suggesting appropriate actionable measures to align national and provincial level frameworks with international standards through possible interventions.

4- Formulation of strategies to integrate industrial sectors with ESG, quality and other international compliance standards/regulations.

5- Policy formulation and program development to implement a comprehensive ESG, Corporate Sustainability, Health & Safety, and Business & Human Rights advisory services program.

6- Formulate a Master Outreach Plan for industrial sectors to keep them informed about existing and emerging global regulatory compliances.

7- Collaboration with the key stakeholders (including development partners, government, private sector, and academia) on ESG, Sustainability, Health & Safety, and Business & Human Rights specific initiatives for effective implementation of different state-level and firm-level obligations.

 Pre-requisites:

Education:

Master or equivalent degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Sustainability, Chemistry, Industrial Management, Development Studies, Business Administration or any other relevant subject from a HEC Recognized local or international University.

Experience:

Minimum professional experience of 09 years in the relevant field.

4- Technical and management skills and ability to coach and guide Cross-functional teams.

Terms and Conditions:

1- Recruitment will be made as per updated Special Professional Pay Scale (SPPS) Policy issued by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan vide its O.M. No. 1/11/2018-E-6 dated 09-04-2024.

2- The appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially for a period of 02 years further extendable for another 02 years: subject to requirements and satisfactory performance.
